摘要： Disclosed is an electrophotography photosensitive member (10) and a method for fabricating the same. This electrophotography photosensitive member (10) comprises a straight chain compound polymer including (i) as main component, a straight chain compound polymer having p-phenylene in the direction of a main chain, and an element of Group VIB at a para-position, the element of Group VIB being selected from the group consisting of S, Se, Te and mixtures thereof; and (ii) oxygen atom. Since oxygen atom is included in the straight chain compound polymer, desirable characteristics are obtained. This photosensitive member (10) is produced at a low cost with a high productivity, thereby providing a high sensitivity, an excellent printing durability and a long lifetime.

摘要： Apparatus and method for substantially equalizing the potential drop along a line cathode used in an electron beam source adapted for use in a flat display device. The apparatus and method ensure that electrons from a power source are fed through both ends of the line cathode, substantially simultaneously. Thereby, the potential drop along the axial length of the line cathode is decreased, improving the uniformity of brightness of the display.

摘要： There are presented new diphenyl ether derivatives having a substituent selected from a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group and a methoxy group at the 4-position in one phenyl moiety, having optionally also halo-substituents at the 2- and 6-positions, and having a nitro group at the 4'-position and a substituent selected from an unsubstituted or substituted (1,3-dioxorane-4-yl)methoxy group, an unsubstituted or substituted (1,3-dioxa-5-cyclohexyloxy) group and an alkyl- or (substituted)amino-sulfonyloxy group at the 3'-position in the other phenyl moiety. They exhibit improved herbicidal effects on various weeds without any adverse phytotoxic effect on crops, e.g. rice seedlings.

摘要： A camera shutter equipped with a selftimer device has an interlocking member for coordinating the movement of the camera operating member and the selftimer device to obtain accurate operation of the shutter release member. The interlocking member has a first arm which engages with the operating member during movement thereof at the beginning portion of the shutter release motion and the operating member thereafter drives the interlocking member to a position in which the interlocking member actuates the selftimer device to initiate a timing operation. Near the end of the timing operation, the selftimer device engages with a second arm of the interlocking member and thereafter drives the interlocking member to another position during the course of which a translating lever mounted on the interlocking member actuates the shutter release member to initiate release of the shutter.
