CONSTITUTION:The figure shows two tables stored in the non-volatile memory of an IC card. The other is a transaction object work classified identification code table, and transaction object works and identification codes are stored correspondingly to each other. When the IC card is inserted to a reader/writer 2, the reader/writer 2 instructs the user to input the transaction work classification. Next, the reader/writer 2 instructs the user to input the transaction work classified identification code, and the transaction work classified identification code table is searched by the work classified identification code and the work classification code, which the user inputs, and it is checked about the propriety, and a pertinent transaction work processing is started if they are valid.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability by forming a polymer containing a hydroxy group in the vicinity of the surface of an anionic ion-exchange membrane thereby reducing matrix interference of serum. SOLUTION: An internal liquid 2 containing about 10 mml/l of sodium chloride is contained in an electrode tube 1 and an inner electrode 3 of silver/silver chloride is immersed into the internal liquid 2 before an ion-sensitive membrane 4 is bonded to the end part of the electrode tube 1. The ion-sensitive membrane 4 causes an anionic ion-exchange membrane to be impregnated or permeated with a polymer component including a hydroxy group, i.e., a mixture of respective monomers, before being heated and polymerized. Content, and the like, of hydroxy group in the anionic ion-exchange membrane and the composition of the polymer can be controlled easily by regulating the quantity of monomer to be impregnated. The polymer including a hydroxy group is formed to be entangled with skeleton of anionic ion-exchange membrane, i.e., the anionic ion-exchange resin mesh, and since the bond is strong, no elution takes place even after it is brought into contact with a sample having high lipophilicity, e.g. blood, for a long time.

Electrodes c', c" having the same ion selectivity as the electrode (c) to objective ions come into contact only with the reference electrode soln. from a passage 7 and does not come into contact with the sample soln. to be prevented from deterioration, When the life of the electrode (c) is exhausted, waste fluid passages 8, 8" are closed and a waste fluid passage 8' is opened to use the electrode c' and, when the life of the electrode c' is exhausted, the passages 8, 8' are closed and the fluid 8" is opened to start the use of the electrode c". By this constitution, the whole of the multi-sensor can be used up to the sum total of the lives of a plurality of the electrodes c, c', c" to the same objective ions and can be extended in life by the arranging number of the electrodes (c).
