By holding a film strip 6 between the members 47 and 48 so that the mark developed to appear may be viewed from the small apertures 47b and 48b of the film carrier 45, the photographic frame is set at the correct position of the film carrier 45 without confirming the front surface and the back surface of the film strip 6 and the top and the bottom of a photographic image. By inserting the film carrier 45 in the printing optical path of a photographic printer, the photographic image of the photographic frame is printed as a normal image on photographic paper.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera constituted so that the top and the bottom of an image and the top and the bottom of imprinted characters may be aligned correctly. SOLUTION: An attitude detecting device 66 is fixed in a camera body 21. The device 66 is constituted by movably putting a conductive weight 68 in a container 67 whose inside is a semicircular hollow. When the attitude of the body 21 is changed, the weight 68 moves in the container 67 and is always positioned at the lowermost part of the container 67. Then, 1st to 3rd contacts are provided at three spots in the container 67, and short-circuited by the weight 68. According to a signal from the device 66, a CPU changes the read-out order of character data from a RAM so that the attitude of a photographic image and the attitude of the character imprinted on the edge of a film strip may be aligned correctly. The CPU reads out the character data from the RAM while synchronizing with a carrying pulse, and controls the light emission of respective light emitting elements in a light emitting element array. Respective light points emitted from the light emitting elements are reduced by an optical system so as to imprint the characters 'Taro' in KANJI (Chinese character) at the edge part of the film strip.

SOLUTION: A rectangular aperture 31 for imprinting a mark is formed between the extensions A and B of the edges 26a and 26b of an aperture 26 in a film feeding direction between a film rail 29 and a guiding rail 30 provided under a film path 9, and a light transmitting part 32 made of transparent resin are fit in the aperture 31. An LED is lit by a trigger signal outputted interlocked with shutter release, and the mark is imprinted on the edge of a film strip for every photographic frame from the part 32. By setting the mark developed to appear at the small aperture of a film carrier, the photographic frame is set at the correct position of the film carrier without confirming the front surface and the back surface of the film strip and the top and the bottom of a photographic image. By inserting the film carrier in a printing optical path, the photographic image of the photographic frame is printed as a normal image on photographic paper.
