    • A method of simultaneously forming at least one capacitor, at least one resistor and at least one metal-oxide semiconductor. A structure having: an exposed oxide structure; a capacitor region within at least a portion of the exposed oxide structure; a first resistor region within at least a portion of the exposed oxide structure; a second resistor region within at least a portion of the exposed oxide structure; and a metal-oxide semiconductor region not within at least a portion of the exposed oxide structure is provided. A first polysilicon layer is formed over the structure and the exposed oxide structure. The first polysilicon layer is doped to form a doped first polysilicon layer. An interpoly oxide film is formed over the doped first polysilicon layer. The interpoly oxide film is patterned to form: a capacitor interpoly oxide film portion within the capacitor region over the oxide structure; and a second interpoly oxide film portion within the second resistor region over the oxide structure. A second polysilicon layer is formed over the structure. The second polysilicon layer is doped to form a doped second polysilicon layer. The doped second polysilicon layer and the doped first polysilicon layer are patterned to form: within the capacitor region: a lower capacitor doped first polysilicon portion underneath at least a portion of the capacitor interpoly oxide film portion, and an overlying upper capacitor second doped polysilicon portion over at least a portion of the patterned capacitor interpoly oxide film portion; within the first resistor region: a lower first resistor first polysilicon portion and an upper, overlying first resistor second polysilicon portion; within the second resistor region: a lower second resistor first polysilicon portion underneath at least a portion of the second interpoly oxide film portion; and within the metal-oxide semiconductor region: a lower metal-oxide semiconductor first polysilicon portion and an overlying metal-oxide semiconductor second polysilicon portion.

    • A computer peripheral input system with two input types and a method of data communication for the same is provided. The computer peripheral input system comprises a first input module, a second input module and control means having a communication interface installed therein. The first input module is used for inputting at least a first input data and generating a first input signal corresponding thereto. The second input module is used for inputting at least a second input data and generating a second input signal corresponding thereto. Control means reads and processes the first and second input signals, and then stores a first and second information respectively corresponding thereto. The first information represents the first input data. The second information represents the second input data. The communication interface sends the first and second information stored in control means by a polling method.

    • A shell structure with a ring clip, which can be produced by insert molding. The preformed ring clip comprises of a head portion and an adjoining neck portion. The head portion is exposed outside the shell body. The neck portion extends through a retainer hole of the shell body, with a retainer portion formed at the end thereof. The retaining portion hooks the inner wall of the shell body. Particularly, the neck portion has a cone shape that enables the neck portion to be disengaged from the retainer hole of the shell body after forming. The ring clip is in a condition of loose assembly, and is able to rotate freely relative to the shell body.

    • A method for promoting temporal resolution of sequential images is to firstly choose a first visual frame and split it into a plurality of visual blocks according to a predetermined value, then choose a second visual frame. The method then goes to search the second visual frame for mostly resembling respective visual blocks corresponding to every visual block in the first visual frame and estimate the vector displacement of respective corresponding visual blocks of the visual frames. Further, it goes to rebuild a visual frame, estimate the respective pixel values of respective corresponding visual blocks of the visual frames at a time point, combine the pixel values of visual blocks to create the rebuilt visual frame, apply a median-value-filtering procedure upon the rebuilt visual frame, and apply a spatial low-pass filtering procedure upon the rebuilt visual frame, which has undergone the previous procedure.

    • An apparatus and method for automatic power control is disclosed. An optical recording apparatus utilizes a low-speed, peak-hold circuit to obtain and output a maximum of a front photodiode output signal during a predetermined window or plurality of windows of a total duration long enough to allow maximum peak-hold signal to stabilize. After stabilization, the maximum peak-hold signal is sampled and held in a sample and hold circuit. A reset then clears the signal and reinitializes the peak-hold circuit. In accordance with the difference between a reference voltageand the held peak-hold signal, a feedback controller unit outputs the required current level into a driving unit for producing desired recording pulses into a laser diode for recording information pits into an optical disc. A calibration gain may be used when, due to insufficient FPD response speed, the held signal is different than the real optical power output.
