    • PURPOSE:To raise chips, form the chips into an eddy state and improve cutting performance in processing a workpiece difficult to cut by forming a step part on a secondary cutting face adjacent to the primary cutting face of cemented carbide tips fixed at equal intervals to the periphery of a metal base, but at a position away from the primary cutting face. CONSTITUTION:For the cemented carbide tip 3 of a saw blade, a primary cutting face 3a of length S1 with a primary rake angle r1 is formed on cutting edge top for restraining cutting resistance and maintaining cutter tooth strength. Subsequent thereto, a secondary cutting face 3b of length S2 is formed with a secondary rake angle r2, and a stepped part 3c is formed to be one step higher with a level difference 3g on a slope. Also, for the primary rake angle r1, a flank 3d with a clearance angle r3 is formed at the back thereof. The circular saw brazed with said cemented carbide tip 3 cuts chips into fine pieces with a chip parting groove 3f, when processing the chips with each cutting edge. Thereafter, the chips so processed are held upward with the level difference 3g and formed into an eddy state. Therefore, a workpiece is free from a deposit of chips and cooled without any such deposit, thereby improving cutting performance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a quickly workable and durable die material economically by using, as the base material for die, a compound body made by unifying a surface metal consisting of high alloy tool steel and a base metal consisting of structural alloy steel. CONSTITUTION:Base material 1 for die is made by forge welding or brazing a surface metal over whole surface of a base metal forming a base to unify the two. In case where the surface metal is die steel, it is unified by forge welding. The process is carried out in the following sequence: heating, rolling forge welding (compounding and unifying), normalizing, annealing, hardening and tempering. After this, it is finished by grinding the upper and lower faces. For the base metal 2, steel having hardness of HR C20-40 after heat treatment is used to permit drilling and tapping. In case where the surface metal is high speed steel, the base metal 2 and surface metal 3 are usually compounded and unified by brazing though forge welding is sometimes used. At this time, brazing filler metal is inserted between the two, and hardening is performed at the same time. After brazing and hardening, it is tempered and upper and lower faces are finished by grinding to obtain a base material 1 for die.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idle rotation mechanism of two cylindrical members installed coaxially in which first the two rotate in a single piece if a fastening torque in the rotating direction is given to one of them and then the one given the torque idles relative to the other member when the fastening torque exceeds the specified value, wherein a nut or the like can be prevented from being tightened excessively by setting properly the torque immediately before idling previously. SOLUTION: On the inside surface of an outer cylindrical member 12 an inner cylindrical member 14 is installed coaxially and rotatably, and a friction force generated by the resilience of a resilient piece 48 is applied in between the two cylindrical members, and thereby when one is rotated, the other will rotate in a single piece, and the friction force is adjusted by adjusting the resilience of the resilient piece, and in case a torque exceeding the specified value is applied to the first named cylindrical member, it is admitted to idle with respect to the other. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replaceable blade type disk cutter capable of shortening the length of a replaceable blade and facilitated in exchange of the replaceable blade and capable of preventing a rise of the replaceable blade from a fitting seat. SOLUTION: This disk cutter 10 is provided with a disk-like main body 11 having a peripheral side surface inclined in the axial direction to form conical inclined surfaces 14a and 15a. A replaceable blade fitting seat 17 is a groove formed in the inclined surface side of the main body from the peripheral edge toward the nearly center in the radial direction along the inclined surface, or a T-shape groove, a dovetail groove or a similar lock groove, in which the replaceable blade 25 can be inserted from the peripheral edge side of the main body and can not move to the inclined surface side. The replaceable blade is provided with a fitting hole 27 having a female screw at the predetermined position, and the replaceable blade is fixed inside of the replaceable blade fitting seat by screwing a fitting bolt 28 passing through the peripheral part from the opposite surface of the inclined surface to the fitting hole in the condition that the replaceable blade is inserted in the replaceable blade fitting seat.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve hitherto known technical drawback that a thickness reduction of a circular saw easily generate buckling phenomena as a critical rotational frequency lowers by providing a circular saw structure, which enables to reduced the circular saw thickness without lowering the critical rotational frequency, and enlarge the critical rotational frequency above more than two times of the conventional's, and a method to attach the circular saw to a spindle. SOLUTION: On a body of the circular saw, three slits elongated in the radially-outwardly direction at a required center angle are formed, and dead end of the slits are set within 60-70% circular realm of the bottom radius of the circular saw. Also, on an occasion of fixing the above designed circular saw to a rotational spindle, aforementioned problems are solved by a mounting method of the circular saw to the spindle where a movement toward a thickness direction and a rotational direction are restrained by a pair of flanges prepared on the rotational spindle, but an expansion and a contraction of the body followed by an expansions and a reductions along radial direction are allowed acceptable by tightly holding both sides of the circular saw.
