摘要： A non-refill valve (1) for a non-refillable container, comprising a valve body (7) having an inlet (9) and an outlet (11) and a passage through the valve body (7) interconnecting the inlet (9) and the outlet (11). A valve stem (13) slides in the passage (15) and has an axial passageway (15) that extends partway therethrough and that terminates laterally in a passageway (17) that extends through a side wall of the stem (13) intermediate the ends of the stem. A ball (21) in the stem (13) rests on a seat (23) on the stem (13) and closes the valve stem passageway (15) against the flow of gas from the outlet (11) towards the inlet (9). A first spring (25) urges the ball (21) against the seat (23) to permit flow of gas only in a direction from the inlet (9) to the outlet (11) by displacing the ball (21) from the seat (23) against the action of the first spring (25) in an open position of the valve (1). A second spring (45) urges the stem (13) in the direction of the flow of gas from the inlet (9) to the outlet (11), and a seal (49) acts between the stem (13) and the valve body (7). The second spring (45) urges the seal (49) into sealing relation with the valve body (7) in a closed position of the valve (1), whereby when a coupling (5) is attached to the valve body (7), the coupling (5) urges the stem (13) in a direction opposite the first-mentioned direction and against the action of the second spring (45) to move the seal (49) out of sealing relation with the valve body (7), thereby to establish communication between the inlet (9) and the outlet (11) when the pressure of a gas in the inlet (9) is sufficient to move the ball (21) off the seat (23) against the action of the first spring (25).

摘要： The present invention relates to a wave soldering process wherein an inert gas atmosphere is injected inside the wave soldering machine, said inert gas atmosphere having a temperature which might be controlled. Particularly, the atmosphere can be heated at the same or different temperatures before injection, for example in the preheating zones, in the machine. The atmosphere can also be cooled (or injected at ambient temperature) e.g. in the cooling zone. Various atmospheres can be used (similar or different from one zone to another). The thermal efficiency of the heat transfer between the atmosphere and the printed circuit boards is thus greatly enhanced, which means less solder defects, higher components density and decrease of energy consumption and inert gas flow rate.

摘要： In a first process sulphur is recovered from fluid mixtures by: 1) recovering an So2-contg. gas from a sulphuric waste treatment plant; 2) charging a H2S-contg. gas into the thermal reactor in a Claus plant; 3) reacting at least part of the SO2-contg. gas in the reactor; and 4) recovering a sulphur-based product from the reactor. Also claimed is a related second process in which SO2-contg. gas from a sulphuric acid regeneration plant is directed partly to the thermal reactor and partly to the convertor, in which no reaction of SO2 occurs in the reactor and the amount are chosen to control the temperature in the thermal reactor.

摘要： For producing and holding CO2 snow, first and second cylindrical horns (4, 6) connected to an open ended vertical discharge duct (8) to form a generally Y-shaped continuous expansion chamber. First and second nozzles (34, 36) axially positioned at the tops of the snow horns have tangential fluid discharge passages (33..35) which are mutually oppositely oriented to produce oppositely oriented spiral flows of CO2 snow within the snow horns. The two oppositely oriented spiral flows meet in a mixing region where their spiral components are cancelled, leaving only a vertical component of motion so that the snow is discharged through the vertical discharge duct by gravity. The discharged snow can be stored in a snow receiving container without blowing or wastage.
