摘要： The high-pressure discharge lamp comprises a discharge vessel provided with a first and a second lamp electrode, an outer envelope which surrounds the discharge vessel with space and which is provided with a lamp cap. A tube-like UV enhancer having a longitudinal axis is provided in the space having a ceramic wall and provided with an internal enhancer electrode connected to the first lamp electrode and by way of a capacitive coupling connected to the second lamp electrode, and which enhancer electrode has an end inside the enhancer. The capacitive coupling is formed by a metal curl positioned around the UV enhancer in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the UV enhancer and close to the end of the enhancer electrode. The lamp shows on ignition with a relative small ignition voltage only a very small ignition delay.

摘要： A gaseous-discharge lamp, in particular for motor-vehicle headlamps, includes a burner vessel made of glass or the like that contains a gas. Into this burner vessel extend two main electrodes via two gas-tight electrode bushings. Between the end regions of the main electrodes arranged in the burner vessel, an arc gap is formed, along which an electric arc develops during operation. To achieve a smallest possible ignition voltage, an arrangement is provided for producing a creepage spark gap along the inner vessel wall and/or a spark gap that is shorter than the arc gap, serving as an ignition gap that is spatially separated from the arc gap.

摘要： The invention relates to a high-pressure discharge lamp provided with a discharge vessel made of glass which encloses a discharge space having an ionizable filling and an electrode. The discharge vessel is provided with a seal which encloses an Mo foil having knife edges and forms a feedthrough for an electric conductor to the electrode. At the location of the foil, the seal has a gastight sealed cavity and a first antenna on the outer side of the cavity. Preferably, a second antenna is placed at the neck where the seal is connected to the discharge vessel. This reduces both hot restrike voltage and hot restrike delay.
