摘要： A cylindrical vibration insulator is provided which includes a vibration insulator bushing having an outer cylinder, a rubber member, an inner cylinder, and a bracket for supporting the vibration insulator bushing. The bracket, holding the axial ends of the vibration insulator bushing, is made of sheet-metal and has a pair of plate members which define an opening, and right and left leg portions which have different lengths. The opening and the leg portions are formed on a plate member together by press working. The plate members are opposed to each other, and fixed at the leg portions. As a result, a bracket is made easily and holds the vibration insulator bushing firmly.

摘要： A steering wheel is provided having a vibration prevention mechanism and a horn switch mechanism, the horn switch mechanism includes: first and second contact plates each having two contacts for operating a horn; coil springs provided between the first and second contact plates to space them away from each other; and guide pins for guiding the movement of the contact plates towards each other. The vibration prevention mechanism includes a mounting plate; two vibration proofing rubber members provided between the mounting plate and the second contact plate to couple the mounting place to the second contact plate. The two contacts of the first contact plates, the two contacts of the second contact plates, and the two vibration proofing members are located in one and the same plane. This arrangement allows the operator to operate the horn smoothly.
