摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function by covering the ground part of a plastic sheet having one lateral side part buried in the ground with earth and sand, and covering the surface with a plastic cover. SOLUTION: In construction of a levee 1, one lateral side part of a strip plastic sheet 2 is inserted to an insert groove longitudinally provided in a levee setting part followed by back filling and fixed by rolling compaction. A form is thin arranged on both sides of the ground protruding part of the sheet 2, and earth and sand, or earth and sand including cement or a soil hardener is filled in the inner part to form a levee body part 3. After cover insert grooves are formed on both the foot parts of the body part 3, the form is removed, the body part 3 is covered with a plastic cover 4, and both the edges 4a thereof are inserted to the cover insert grooves followed by back filling and rolling compaction to fix the cover 4. According to this, since penetration of water for irrigation and boring by small animals can be surely prevented, and the strength is ensured by the levee body part, the plastic cover can be thinned to significantly reduce the cost, and the construction can be also facilitated.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water level controller which allows irrigation water to be quickly supplied to or discharged from a paddy field, and is easily cleaned to remove mud, sand or the like which builds up in the device. SOLUTION: This water level controller is for an irrigation water supply/ discharge system for a paddy field, wherein water flowing into a lower chamber 11b of a water supply/discharge measure body 11 via a water supply section 15 moves into a controlling section 11g in an upper chamber 11a via an opening provided in a partition plate 12 in the water supply/discharge measure body 11, and then into a communication tube 11f leading to the paddy field via a water supply hole 18a in a third partition wall 18. Water is then supplied from the communication tube 11f to each farming section in the paddy field via a water supply/discharge tube 19. Water in the farming section flows downward, via a water level controlling tube 22, into a water discharge section in the lower chamber 11b in the water supply/discharge measure body 11, when its level exceeds the upper side of the water level controlling tube 22, being discharged out of the water supply/discharge measure body 11 via a water discharge tube section 16.

SOLUTION: A supply and drain water weir 11a for supplying water to a paddy field is installed at the upper part of a supply and drain water measure 11 arranged along the paddy field. The supply and drain water measure 11 is equipped with a water inflow part 14 having both an inlet pipe 14b for sending water into the supply and drain water measure 11 and an inflow auxiliary pipe 14m having a diameter smaller than that of the inlet pipe 14b and directly sending water to the paddy field. The inlet pipe 14b is opened and closed by a water valve 14c and the inflow auxiliary pipe 14m is opened and closed by an on-off valve 14n at a tip part positioned in the paddy field. A water level adjusting part 15 for draining excessive water flowing from the paddy field into the supply and drain water measure 11 from the supply and drain water measure 11 is installed in the supply and drain water measure 11 so as to adjust water supplied to the paddy field to a fixed water level.
