    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger for medical equipment wherein after a battery is discharged for preventing a memory effect, and thus save time and labor, and reduce a number of working man-hours and medical equipment need not be driven, when the battery is discharged. SOLUTION: The charger for medical equipment includes a power unit 1, a positive wiring 2, negative wiring 3, a resistance means 4, and output wiring 5. The charger is provided with a first relay 6 capable of opening and closing the positive wiring 2 between the resistance means 4 and the power unit 1; short-circuiting wiring 8; a second relay 7 capable of opening and closing the short-circuiting wiring 8. After the second relay 7 is closed and the first relay 6 is opened to discharge the battery B, the second relay 7 is opened automatically, and the first relay 6 is automatically closed to charge the battery B.
