    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel gasification apparatus which can sufficiently contact the fine particles of a solid fuel with a flowable medium without scattering the fine particles of the solid fuel, can surely finish the thermal decomposition of the solid fuel, can improve cooled gas efficiency, can improve a C conversion rate and an H conversion rate, and can reform tar in the gasification gas.
      SOLUTION: This fuel gasification apparatus is characterized by connecting a fuel-supplying pipe 14 to a lower position than the upper surface of a fluidized layer 1 on the side surface of a gasification furnace 2, supplying the solid fuel from the fuel-supplying pipe 14 into the fluidized layer 1, and disposing a confluence-accelerating means 15 for combining the solid fuel supplied from the fuel-supplying pipe 14 into the fluidized layer 1 with the flow of the flowing medium supplied from a downcomer 7 into the inner bottom portion of the fluidized layer 1.
