      SOLUTION: A clip 21 for connecting nets 11a and 11b is composed of a clip body 22 and a stopper 23. While the clip body 22 is composed of a ring part 22a for substantially horizontally penetrating a guide wire 14 and having an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of through-holes 13a and 13b of the nets 11a and 11b, an inserting part 22b inserted into the through-holes 13a and 13b with a phase difference of substantially 90 degrees to the ring part 22a and a connecting part 22c formed in a tip part of the inserting part 22b, falling-off of the inserting part 22b can be checked by abutting on an edge part of the through-holes 13a and 13b by connecting the stopper 23 to the connecting part 22c.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration preventing structure for individual members forming a steel tower structure, which can damp various kinds of vibrations of the individual members without increasing materials or incurring increased wind load.
      SOLUTION: The steel tower structure is formed of a plurality of main column members which are vertically erected and serve as main members of the steel tower structure, and the plurality of individual members provided therefor in addition to the main column members in order to connect the main members to each other or strengthening the same. The vibration control structure for the individual members is constructed by connecting the individual members targeted for vibration prevention, by means of connecting members each having a vibration damping element. According to the structure, the connecting member functions to damp vibration amplitude of the two individual members targeted for vibration prevention, and therefore cracking and breakage of the individual members targeted for vibration prevention and joint portions due to fatigue thereof can be prevented. Further, the shape of each individual member targeted for vibration prevention is minimized, which leads to simplified structure of the joint portions.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a base isolated building, which can easily fix an upper buiding by a shear pin even if the upper building is horizontally dislocated, without expanding shear pin insertion holes, and to provide a fixing method for the base isolated building.
      SOLUTION: The fixing device is formed of a lower housing 21 fixed to a foundation and an upper housing 16 fixed to the superstructure. Then decentered bushes (an upper bush 17 and a lower bush 22) having formed therein the decentered shear pin insertion holes 17a, 22a, respectively, into which the shear pin 13 is inserted, are arranged in the upper and lower housings, respectively, in a manner extending their axes in the vertical direction and rotatable about the axes. Thus by rotating the upper and lower bushes 17, 22, even if the upper building is horizontally dislocated, the central axes of the shear pin insertion holes 17a, 22a are aligned with each other.
