    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end structure for a superconducting cable in which, when drawing and laying the superconducting cable, a traction tensile force is mainly loaded by a core and can be hardly loaded by a heat insulation tube.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an end structure including: a plurality of twisted multi-center cores 20; a heat insulation tube 10 which has a double tube structure with a heat insulated space between an inner tube 11 and an outer tube 12 and accommodates the plurality of multi-center cores 20 inside the inner tube 11 with slack; and a core holding member 7 for collectively holding ends of the cores 20. The end structure further includes: a heat insulation tube sealing member 5 communicated to an end of the heat insulation tube 10; and a slack adjusting member 6 abutted and stopped on a distal end face of the heat insulation tube sealing member 5. The core holding member 7 has an end gripping member 71 for gripping an end of a former 21 that each core 20 includes, and a forward/backward moving member 72 which is concatenated with the end gripping members 71 and screwed with the slack adjusting member 6 through the heat insulation tube sealing member 5. By rotating the slack adjusting member 6, the forward/backward moving member 72 is moved back and forth in an axial direction of the heat insulation tube 10 to adjust slack in twisting the cores 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system using a superconductive cable and adjusting transmission current flowing in a cable core in accordance with the cable core.
      SOLUTION: The power transmission system using the superconductive cable is provided with an optical fiber arranged along the cable core, a temperature measuring means measuring the temperature of the cable core, an overcurrent detecting means detecting that overcurrent flows in the cable core, a storing means storing critical current value data corresponding to the temperature of the cable core, a critical current calculating means obtaining a critical current corresponding to the measured temperature of the cable core, a first comparing means detecting that overcurrent flows in the cable core and comparing the critical current of the cable core with a transmission current flowing in the cable core after overcurrent passes, and a current adjusting means adjusting the transmission current flowing in the cable core to be the critical current or below when the transmission current exceeds the critical current as a result of comparison.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting cable line which is applicable to a countermeasure against short circuit current and can be reduced in a diameter.
      SOLUTION: The superconducting cable line 1a includes a cable core 10 having a superconducting conductor layer 12 made by winding a superconducting wire rod spirally around an outer periphery of a former 11, and a heat insulating tube 5 which houses the cable core 10 and in which a space with the cable core 10 becomes a cooling medium circulating channel. A bypass conductor 21 made of a normal conductor for bypassing the short circuit current is disposed outside the cable core 10. The superconducting cable line 1a has a circulation tube 6 allowing the cooling medium in the heat insulating tube 5 to circulate outside the heat insulating tube 5, and the bypass conductor 21 is housed in the circulation tube 6.
