    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor supporting structure capable of obtaining the damping effect of a rotor with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The rotor supporting structure is provided with a housing 21, and a bushing 24 supported in the housing 21 to support a boring bar 11 rotatably. An annular projection 25 opposite to the bushing 24 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the housing 21. In the projection 25, an oil feeding passage 26 is radially extended in the circumferential predetermined position. Oil is fed from a base end side (the housing side) toward a tip end (center side) of the projection 25. A recess 27 recessed toward the base end side is formed in the tip of the projection 25 to communicate with the oil feeding passage 26. The bushing 23 also vibrates, following the boring bar 11 to cause the relatively vertical vibration between the outer peripheral surface of the bushing 24 and the end surface of the projection 25, which are opposite each other, so that the boring bar 11 can be damped by the squeeze owing to a film in a clearance S.
