    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing bisphenol A prills uniform in granular size, rich in fluidity and high in bulk density and hardness through inhibiting bisphenol A's sticking to the bottom of a granulation column as a result of stable bisphenol A production by specifying nozzle hole diameter, the extrusion rate of bisphenol A melt via nozzle, the flow velocity of a cooling gas, nozzle hole spacing, etc.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing the bisphenol A prills comprises the following process: Bisphenol A melt is allowed to fall from a nozzle plate on the upper part of the granulation column and a cooling gas is allowed to flow from the lower part of the granulation column upward to effect granulation of the melt, wherein there are requirements as follows: (a) the nozzle hole diameter is 0.3-1.0 mm, (b) the extrusion rate of the bisphenol A melt via the nozzle is 0.5-1.8 m/s, and (c) the flow velocity of the cooling gas is 0.7-2.0 m/s.
