    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting of a dehumidification operation mode according to living needs.
      SOLUTION: At an operation remote control 2, 4 types of dehumidification operation mode information Ae, Be, Ce and De are stored in a memory part 21 of a microcomputer 13, and they are read out sequentially and cyclically at each operation of a dehumidification button 14 and sent to a body 1 with an operation start signal. At the body 1, these operation start signals and dehumidification operation mode information are received, and the dehumidification operation mode information is stored in a memory part 3, with which temperature, air flow and operation time of specified dehumidification operation is set. CPU 10 detects temperature and humidity from a room temperature detector 5, a humidity detector 6 and an outside air temperature detector 5' and calculates the number of revolution of an indoor fan motor 7, an outdoor fan motor 8 and a compressor motor 9 from the relations with these and the set above so as to start dehumidification operation specified by the dehumidification operation mode information. The dehumidification operation can be directly started by the operation start signal.

On the body 1 side, the dehumidifying operation information is stored in a storing section 3, upon receiving the operation starting signal and the dehumidifying operation mode information, and the temperature, the humidity, the air volume, and the operating hour for the dehumidifying operation designated thereby are set. In addition, a CPU 10 detects the temperatures and the humidity by means of a room-temperature detector 5, a humidity detector 6, and an outdoor air temperature detector 5', calculates the numbers of revolutions of an indoor fan motor 7, an outdoor fan motor 8, and a compressor motor 9 from the relationship between the detected temperatures and humidity and the set temperature and humidity, and starts the dehumidifying operation designated by the dehumidifying operation mode information. The dehumidifying operation can be actuated directly by means of the operation starting signal.
