    • A safety apparatus for a combustion engine includes a rotary member disposed in a rotating portion of the internal combustion engine, a spiral spring supported by the rotary member at one end and biasing the rotary member in a predetermined direction, an engaging member engaging with the other end of the spiral spring, a housing for receiving the spiral spring, and a guide member arranged over at least the outer side periphery of the overlapping portion of the spiral spring and extending along the circumferential direction of the spiral spring to prevent the spiral spring from expanding in diameter. With this construction, when breakage is caused in the spiral spring, hooking of the broken end onto the engaging member can be prevented by the guide member. Therefore, it can prevent the throttle valve from being biased toward opening direction by the broken spiral spring.

    • A fluid control valve includes a housing defining therein a fluid passage. The fluid control valve further includes a valve member for controlling a fluid flow in the fluid passage by communicating and blocking by the fluid passage. The fluid control valve further includes a protection member being press-inserted into the housing for protecting the housing from heat of the fluid flow in the fluid passage. The housing is formed by die casting of an aluminum material. The protection member and a wall surface, which defines the fluid passage in the housing, define therebetween a thermal insulating layer for restricting thermal transmission of the fluid flow from the protection member toward the housing.

    • A fluid control valve assembly is disclosed that includes a housing, a valve with a ring-shaped groove, and a seal ring with a clearance extending between an outer diameter and an inner diameter. The seal ring includes a pair of opposing axial side surfaces and is provided in the groove. The seal ring seals against the housing when the valve is in the closed position. The valve assembly also includes a backup ring provided in the groove adjacent one of the axial side surfaces of the seal ring to thereby obstruct fluid flow through the clearance of the seal ring when the valve is in the closed position.

    • An electromagnetic valve includes a valve case, a covering member, a valve member, an urging device, and an electromagnetic driving unit. The case includes a side wall; a bottom wall; an opening; a peripheral end face; a valve accommodating part eccentrically relative to a central axis of the opening; and a first port. The covering member includes a top plate part welded on the end face to cover the opening; a second port; a cylindrical part; and a valve seat on an end face of the cylindrical part.
