摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic probe which can pierce while a position to be observed is searched and wherein a transmitted or a pseudo-transmitted ultrasonic wave can be easily measured by arranging a pair of an ultrasonic convertor and an ultrasonic reflecting material or a pair of the first and the second ultrasonic convertors so as to face them in the direction being perpendicular to the axis of a puncture needle. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pairs of thin film ultrasonic convertors 2 and 2' facing each other so as to placing the central axis between them are provided on the wall face of a hollow outer needle 10 and a low frequency ultrasonic convertor 3 for searching is also provided on the face in the axial direction of the apex part of a filled inner needle 20. Under a condition where apex positions of the inner needle 20 and the outer needle 10 are joined, a needle-like ultrasonic probe is pierced into the object to be examined and when the apex of the inner needle 20 reaches a site to be observed, it is stopped. Thereafter, when the outer needle 10 is pierced furthermore to an inner position to be observed, the tissue of living body at the position to be observed is introduced into the hollow outer needle 10 to result in a condition where this is placed up and down between a plurality of the facing pairs of the ultrasonic convertors. Under this condition, sound characteristics of the tissue of the living body introduced into the outer needle 10 are measured.

摘要： An ultrasonic medical treating device suited for ultrasonic medical treatment of a prostate, capable of sighting a converging ultrasonic wave for the treatment precisely to a target portion, and preventing displacement from the target portion being irradiated effectively. An ultrasonic transducer (5) for generating a converging ultrasonic wave for treatment is arranged together with an imaging ultrasonic probe (6) in an applicator (4), and an ultrasonic transducer (2) for monitoring the sight of and the position displacement is provided in a catheter inserted in a ureter. Imaging means (7) drives the ultrasonic probe (6) to display an ultrasonic tomogram of the target portion and its vicinity on display means (10). The ultrasonic transducer (2) is driven pulsationally with the same frequency as that of the imaging ultrasonic wave at the timing at which the imaging ultrasonic wave, so that a point sound source image indicating the position of the transducer (2), as viewed from the applicator, is superimposed on the ultrasonic tomogram displayed on the display means (10). The position displacement of the applicator being irradiated with the converging ultrasonic wave can be monitored by monitoring the displacement from the position of the point sound source image at the end of the position adjustment of the applicator.

摘要： It is possible to realize encoded transmission/reception for lowering the time side lobe while suppressing increase of the circuit size. A transmission signal corresponding to a synthesized modulation code string which has combined a plurality of modulation code strings is outputted. A reception unit demodulates the reception signal stepwise by a plurality of demodulators. Thus, the demodulator can be separated into a plurality of stages. Accordingly, with the circuit size totaling the number of calculation circuits of the demodulators, it is possible to obtain the time side lobe reduction effect equivalent to the number of circuits as a demodulator of a plurality stages multiplied by the number of calculation circuits.

摘要： A technique for changing the frequency of a reference signal arbitrarily and realizing various types of high quality or high speed imaging is provided for digital ultrasonic diagnosis device utilizing a frequency change phasing method. Reception signals obtained by an array of ultrasonic vibrators are digitized at a sampling frequency higher than their Nyquist frequency, the reception signals are mixed with reference signals respectively, a plurality of samples of them are accumulated in a sampling direction and phased and added by a reception wave focusing means. The reference signals are successively read out of a memory means in order of sampling numbers and used. A reference signal sequence produced from signals whose frequencies are reduced with the lapse of time since the wave is transmitted or a reference signal sequence produced alternately from two signals having different frequencies are stored in the memory means.

摘要： PURPOSE:To minimize effect from the inter-electrode capacity of a piezo-electric element and the electrostatic capacity of a cable, by connecting a low-impedance element to both ends of the piezo-electric element to detect the current flowing therethrough. CONSTITUTION:A signal source impedance 100, a parallel impedance 200, a series impedance 300 and a receiving amplifier 400 whose input impedance is indicated by 401 are so arranged that an output develops at the output 402 of the amplifier corresponding to the value of the current flowing through the input impedance 401. The input impedance 401 of the amplifier shall be a load element so as to be sufficiently lower in the impedance value as compared with the equivalent signal source resistance 12 of a piezo-electric element and the series element 300. In this case, normally, it is easy to make the sum of impedance values of 401 and 300 lower than that of the parallel impedance 200. This enables efficient flowing of the signal current from an echo signal source 11 to the 401 thereby reducing the deterioration of signals due to parallel elements to a slight level.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prostatomegaly treating device for identifying a degenerated tissue from the hardness distribution of the prostate and judging a therepeutic effect form the comparison of a degenerated part and a part to be treated. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a catheter 2 with a balloon 3 to be inserted form the urethra of a subject, ultrasonic tomographic image parts 5 and 6 for inserting an ultrasonic probe 31 from the rectum 23 of the patient and tomographic images of the prostate 21, ultrasonic wave irradiation parts 5 and 6 for treating the hypertrophic of the prostate 21 by the irradiation of ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic probe 31, a display part 4 for displaying the tomographic images and a control part 5 for controlling the operation of the catheter with the balloon and the the tomographic images. The size of the balloon is controlled, the prostate is pressurized from the urethra, the tomogram is imaged and the tomographic images before and after pressurization are displayed side by side at the display part. Thus, during prostate treatment by strong ultrasonic waves or after the treatment, the effect of the therapy is easily and accurately judged.
