    • PURPOSE: To attain reducing a cost and noise by fitting in internal/external peripheral surfaces of an outer/inner casing, and further providing an O ring and a backup ring in order to seal an intermediate stage emerging chamber and a delivery chamber, to accomplish a similar function in the past. CONSTITUTION: A seal contact surface in an axial right angle direction of sealing a conventional intermediate stage emerging chamber and delivery chamber 6 is eliminated, to provide in lieu of this seal contact surface a seal surface in a fitting surface 12 in internal/external peripheral surfaces of an outer/inner casing. By providing an O ring 13 and a backup ring 14, introducing high pressure water of the delivery chamber 6 to the intermediate stage emerging chamber can be completely sealed. Further in addition to two-point supporting both ends of the inner casing, fitting is performed in the internal/external peripheral surfaces of the outer casing 1 and inner casing serving as a seal part of the intermediate stage emerging chamber and the delivery chamber 6. Thus by attaining external diametrally contracting the outer casing 1 and suppressing vibration of the inner casing, reducing a cost and noise reducing structure can be attained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a sectional multistage feed pump to reduce the stage manufacturing cost for a sectional multistage feed pump, facilitate disassembly and assembly, and provide excellent maintainability. CONSTITUTION:The stage of a sectional multistage feed pump is formed through combination of a cylinder part 2a and a disc part 2b manufacture of which is easy to make. In a mating surface between members, the cylinder part 2a is expanded owing to a pressure in the stage to effect sealing. Since the stage is brought into a composite structure of members manufacture of which is easy to make, an effect wherein there is no need for casting of the stage like a conventional method, manufacture is facilitated, and a cost is reduced is produced. Further, a pump which facilitates disassembly and assembly and provides excellent maintainability is provided.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the required strength of the material, thickness and flange part of a casing tightening bolt by measuring the temperatures of either or both of a pump casing and a casing tightening bolt, and relieving excessive stress due to a difference in temperature between them by forcibly adjusting its temperature to an appropriate level. CONSTITUTION:A casing is tightened with a casing tightening bolt 3 and a casing tightening nut 4. Temperature is detected with a casing tightening bolt temperature detector 5 and a casing temperature detector 6. The generation of stress due to a difference in temperature between the casing and the bolt is reduced by adjusting the temperature of the casing tightening bolt 3 with a temperature adjusting device 8 and using a special material for the casing tightening bolt 3. It is thus possible to manufacture a pump inexpensively and easily by eliminating the necessity for using a material with greater tensile strength for the casing tightening bolt or using a casing tightening bolt of greater diameter.

    • PURPOSE: To depressurize a shaft seal part so as to improve sealing effect, and discharge foreign matter and air simultaneously with water extraction so as to be prevented from being mixed into the shaft seal part by extracting water from a decompression chamber provided rather on the pump interior side than a shaft sealing device. CONSTITUTION: A decompression chamber 1 is provided rather on the pump interior side than a shaft seal part 3 in a no-water injection type shaft sealing device, and water is extracted from the decompression chamber 1 by a water extraction pipe 2, so that the interior of the decompression chamber 1 is decompressed to facilitate shaft seal. At this time, water extracting effect can be improved by forming the decompression chamber 1 in volute structure. In addition, a rotary ring 7 is provided on the rotor side, and centrifugal force by the rotor is used to facilitate water extraction and the discharge of foreign matter and air. Further effect can be obtained by forming the rotary ring 7 into a screw type, and the worsening of water permeability of packing caused by the intermixture of air can be prevented.
