摘要： A low-pressure delivery pipe (160) provided with intake manifold injectors (120), a fuel pressure regulator (170), a high-pressure fuel pump (155), a high-pressure delivery pipe (130) provided with in-cylinder injectors (110), and an electromagnetic relief valve (210) are connected in series at the downstream of a low-pressure fuel pump (180) that discharges a fuel within a fuel tank (200) at a prescribed pressure. Since the low-pressure delivery pipe (160) is arranged downstream of the low-pressure fuel pump (180), the fuel pressure within the low-pressure delivery pipe (160) is lowered upon stop of vehicle operation, in response to stop of the low-pressure fuel pump (180). The fuel pressure within the high-pressure delivery pipe (130) is also lowered in response to stop of the low-pressure fuel pump (180), by opening the electromagnetic relief valve (210) upon stop of vehicle operation. Thus, oil tightness of the injectors (110, 120) during the stop of vehicle operation is ensured.

摘要： On a first start of an engine after system activation, the start control technique gives a valve-closing instruction to close an exhaust flow changeover valve and thereby causes all the fuel exhaust introduced into an exhaust system to be discharged after transmission through an HC adsorbent (step S100). After confirmation of the closed position of the exhaust flow changeover valve (steps S110 and S120), the start control technique starts cranking the engine (step S130). Fuel injection control and ignition control are performed to start fuel injection from a fuel injection valve after elapse of a preset time period since the start of engine cranking (step S170). The fuel injection accordingly starts after substantial elimination of the fuel vapor accumulated in an air intake system due to oil-tight leakage of the fuel injection valve. This arrangement effectively prevents a variation in air-fuel ratio on or immediately after a start of the engine.

摘要： A control device for cylinder reducing operation of a multi-cylinder engine for a vehicle controls the number of working cylinders in the engine more appropriately for fuel economy while ensuring the operational stability of the engine and comfortable drivability of the vehicle. The control device comprises a detector detecting engine output torque and judges if cylinder reducing operation is to be executed while referring to the engine output torque. Because of the detection of engine output torque, cylinder reducing operation will be executed as long as torque requested of the engine is available from the reduced number of working cylinders, thereby ensuring the generation of torque required in operating the engine while saving fuel as much as possible. Through a learning process, criteria for the judgment of execution of cylinder reducing operation are modified to be adapted for any variation of engine output performances.

摘要： In a vehicle incorporating an internal combustion engine having in-cylinder injectors and intake manifold injectors and performing engine intermittent operation control, at the end of vehicle operation, the fuel pressure is decreased in both a high-pressure delivery pipe (130) and a low-pressure delivery pipe (160) by actuation (opening) of an electromagnetic relief valve (210) and by stop of operation of a low-pressure fuel pump (180). This prevents deterioration in emission performance at the next engine start attributable to fuel leakage due to degradation in oil tightness of the injectors (110, 120) during the operation stop period. When the engine is temporarily stopped by engine intermittent operation control, while the low-pressure fuel pump (180) is stopped, actuation (opening) of the electromagnetic relief valve (210) is prohibited. At the engine restart after temporary stop, the fuel in the high-pressure delivery pipe (130) having its pressure secured at a certain level is injected to quickly start the engine.
