摘要： Power distribution modules capable of "hot" connection and/or disconnection in distributed antenna systems (DAS), and related components, power units, and methods are disclosed. The power distribution modules are configured to distribute power to a power-consuming DAS component(s), such as a remote antenna unit(s) (RAU(s)). By "hot" connection and/or disconnection, it is meant that the power distribution modules can be connected and/or disconnected from a power unit and/or a power-consuming DAS component(s) while power is being provided to the power distribution modules. Power is not required to be disabled in the power unit before connection and/or disconnection of power distribution modules. As a non-limiting example, the power distribution modules may be configured to protect against or reduce electrical arcing or electrical contact erosion that may otherwise result from "hot" connection and/or connection of the power distribution modules.

摘要： An enclosure for housing communications equipment at subscriber premises includes at least one cable port for receiving service provider cable, a subscriber cable, and ground cable. The enclosure further includes housing having base and outer cover movably attached to base between opened position and closed position to define housing interior volume when outer cover is in closed position. A grounding post extends from base within the housing interior volume and is electrically connectable with ground cable. Active electronic components located in the housing interior volume connect service provider cable with subscriber cable. Service provider security nut attachable to the grounding post both fixes the active electronic components within the housing and grounds active electronic components to grounding post and ground cable. The active electronic components may be mounted to movable inner cover and outer cover may include skirt extending in first direction to obscure cable ports, mounting feet, and hinges.

摘要： Multi-port optical connection terminals and mounting platforms and related methods designed to secure optical components inside an enclosure of the multi-port optical connection terminals are disclosed. In one embodiment, a multi-port optical connection terminal includes an enclosure comprising a base and a cover configured to attach to the base to define an interior cavity. A mounting platform defining a mounting surface for mounting at least one optical component comprised from the group consisting of at least one splice tray and at least one optical splitter to the at least one mounting surface is provided. A plurality of mounting tabs of the mounting platform are configured to extend into channels disposed in an interior wall of the base. In this manner, the mounting platform and any optical components secured thereto are secured inside the interior cavity, which may prevent damage to optical fibers and/or splices of the optical components.
