摘要： A system and method for secure handling of scanned documents is provided. Electronic document data is received by a document processing device and assigned an identifier unique to the document. A user ID or electronic mail address is then received corresponding to the selected output operation. The user ID or address is then transmitted, along with the identifier, to an encryption key generator, which then generates a symmetric encryption key. The encryption key is then returned to the document processing device, whereupon the electronic document data is encrypted and the key is deleted by the document processing device. The encrypted document is then stored or transmitted via electronic mail, in accordance with the selected output operation. Decryption is thereafter accomplished using the document identifier, user ID or email address, and key generator identification data.

Components of the communication systems are configured to receive a call for a user via an enterprise voice channel (5, Fig 5). A call request (3, Fig 5) is automatically generated in response to event data of the received call. The call request includes caller data from enterprise databases or directories. The caller data provides identifying information of the caller to the user via the call request. The call request can include response options by which the user can participate in the call. The call request is routed to a target device of the user via a data channel of the host enterprise. The target device provides the user with multiple action or response options via the call request The response options include for example accepting the call, delaying the call, forwarding the call, ignoring the call, and ignoring the caller.

摘要： A system and method wherein mobile nodes scan both 802.16 and 802.11 radio channels for neighbor access points. A mobile node reports both WiMax and WiFi neighbor access points to its parent access point. A parent access point advertises both WiMax and WiFi neighbor access points to child mobile nodes to facilitate faster roaming and load balancing. A parent WiMax AP can direct a mobile node to roam to a neighbor WiFi access point that has a lighter load or offers enhanced services. As an option, a location tracking protocol is used to determine the location of a mobile node and the mobile node's parent AP advertises neighbor APs that offer services in the mobile node's location.

The exterior surface of the coaster is, preferably, coated with an impermeable material, to prevent liquids absorbed through the top surface from passing through the coater to the beverage holder. The coaster further allows for the emplacement of an advertisement indicia on its surface. A cross route spans branches of the tree topology to provide a more optimal route between any two nodes in the wireless network. The cross route can span multiple spanning trees. Each mesh node maintains a cross route table. When a packet is received, the node determines whether there is an entry for the destination node in the cross route table. If there is an entry for the destination node in the cross route table, the packet is forwarded via the cross route; otherwise, the packet is forwarded via the spanning tree.

In a preferred embodiment the calibration tool comprises a container containing a calibration substance with stable optical scattering and absorption properties. The calibration substance includes a gel, paste or grease substance and is covered a protective seal, which is at least partially transparent providing optical contact between the optical probe and the calibration substance. The protective seal is covered with a viscous complementary material. Another protective seal made at least partially removable is placed above the viscous complementary material and may serve as a cover for the container. The calibration tool maintains the advantages of calibration tools using liquids and solid states as calibration substance and is more cost-effective and more convenient for calibrating optical measuring devices such as in medical applications.

摘要： A method a system and a computer program for an access point to provide immediate delivery of low-latency data packets to one virtual local area network when there are one or more associated stations operating in Power-Save-Protocol on another virtual local area network. The access point observes all the virtual local area networks to which it provides access to associated stations. The access point then determines which of the virtual local area networks contains only active stations. The access point then tracks the virtual local area network having only active stations and immediately transmits to the network incoming multicast/broadcast data packets. Quality of packet data transmissions is improved, in particular, low-latency transmissions (i.e. VOIP transmissions and transmissions for stations in constantly active mode), since the packets for said transmissions are not buffered at the access point, but delivered immediately after reception, whereas packet for otheer transmissions (i.e. for station in Power save mode) are first stored and then delivered when requested by the corresponding stations. In particular, the method, computer program and system is implemented for low latency multicast/broadcast data packets being the destinations certain stations in different VLANS.
