    • A self-absorbent, self-conforming disposable coaster for different sized beverage holders and a method for providing targeted advertising indicia thereon, arc presented. The coaster is inserted into a beverage holder prior to placing a beverage container therein. Once the beverage has been consumed, or when the coaster has reached a predetermined saturation point, the coaster is discarded and a new coaster is inserted. Thus the beverage container holder remains clean. The exterior surface of the coaster is, preferably, coated with an impermeable material, to prevent liquids absorbed through the top surface from passing through the coater to the beverage holder. The coaster further allows for the emplacement of an advertisement indicia on its surface. Data representative of advertising indicia to be provided on beverage holder coasters is received via suitable communications network.

    • A portable handheld electronic device provides automated compiling and generating of categorized item lists in accordance with user-defined preferences. In a preferred embodiment, the device includes voice recognition means adapted for recognizing the received assortment data present in received voice data. The device further includes storage means suitably adapted to store the assortment data, and categorizing means adapted for assigning respective categories to the assortment data. The assigned category is, preferably, at least one of the group including alphabetical order, similar items, temporal order, and user-defined order. Generating means compile and generate the item list that is further displayed and printed at request of the user. The device also includes interface means adapted to receive computer readable instructions corresponding to the operation of the device and/or to send the item list to a remote computer, if necessary.

    • A method a system and a computer program for an access point to provide immediate delivery of low-latency data packets to one virtual local area network when there are one or more associated stations operating in Power-Save-Protocol on another virtual local area network. The access point observes all the virtual local area networks to which it provides access to associated stations. The access point then determines which of the virtual local area networks contains only active stations. The access point then tracks the virtual local area network having only active stations and immediately transmits to the network incoming multicast/broadcast data packets. Quality of packet data transmissions is improved, in particular, low-latency transmissions (i.e. VOIP transmissions and transmissions for stations in constantly active mode), since the packets for said transmissions are not buffered at the access point, but delivered immediately after reception, whereas packet for otheer transmissions (i.e. for station in Power save mode) are first stored and then delivered when requested by the corresponding stations. In particular, the method, computer program and system is implemented for low latency multicast/broadcast data packets being the destinations certain stations in different VLANS.
