A fleet control method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The fleet control method is used for controlling a robot (30) fleet, and comprises: determining a planned path of each robot (30) in the robot (30) fleet (S201), wherein the planned path of each robot (30) is used for indicating a movement path when the robot (30) moves to a corresponding target storage location within a goods shelf (50) area to execute a task; according to the planned path of each robot (30), determining a following path section in the planning path of each following robot (S202), wherein the following path section comprises a path section on the ground and/or a path section extending in a vertical direction; and sending the following path section to the corresponding following robot, so as to make each following robot enter a following mode at a starting point of the following path section and follow the robot ahead to travel and reach a passage corresponding to the target storage location, and/or end the following mode at a termination point of the following path section and reach the target storage location to execute a goods taking or placing task (S203).
