The present invention provides a defective battery detection system using wireless communication. The defective battery detection system comprises first sensors and a first master device. The first sensors are matched one-to-one with first battery modules so as to monitor the first battery modules. The first master device communicates with the first sensors. The first sensors each comprise: a first monitoring circuit which, in a monitoring mode, collects first data related to the first battery module which has been matched one-to-one therewith; and a first communication circuit which, in a communication mode, outputs the first data to the first master device. The first monitoring circuit is turned off in the communication mode. The first communication circuit is turned off in the monitoring mode.
