インホイールモータ駆動装置２１は、電動モータ部Ａと、車輪用軸受部Ｃと、減速機部Ｂとを備える。車輪用軸受部Ｃは、内方部材５１と、ホイール６７が取り付けられるホイール取付面Ｓを有する外方部材５２と、内方部材５１と外方部材５２との間に介在した複数のボール５４、５５からなる転動体列Ｌ１、Ｌ２とを備える。外方部材５２のホイール取付面Ｓを、車輪用軸受部Ｃのアウトボード側の転動体列Ｌ２よりもインボード側に配する。

This in-wheel motor driving device 21 comprises an electric motor part A, a wheel bearing part C, and a decelerator part B. The wheel bearing part C comprises: an inner member 51; an outer member 52 having a wheel attachment surface S to which a wheel 67 is attached; and rolling element rows L1, L2 composed of a plurality of balls 54, 55 interposed between the inner member 51 and the outer member 52. The wheel attachment surface S of the outer member 52 is disposed closer to the inboard side than the rolling element row L2 on the outboard side of the wheel bearing part C.
