The invention relates to a trailer coupling comprising a pivot bearing unit (30) having a pivot bearing body (60) which is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis (50) between a working position (A) and a rest position (R) on a bearing base (32) which is fixed to the vehicle, on which a ball neck (40) supporting a coupling ball (46) on a second end (44) is maintained by a first end, wherein an extension (62) which extends through a passage (64) of the bearing base is arranged on the pivot bearing body coaxially to the pivot axis, wherein the pivot bearing body comprises a form-fitting body (66) which can be moved back and forth in the working position by displacing the pivot bearing body parallel to the pivot axis between a fixing position and a release position, wherein the pivot bearing body has a guide body (120) with receiving portions (110) in which locking bodies (100) are movably arranged. The locking bodies can be moved from a release position into an axial blocking position in which they rest against support surfaces supporting the bearing base, which maintain the support surfaces (98) in the fixing position.
