The invention relates to a lens element (2) and to a one-piece contact device comprising a lens element and a holding device (3) for fixing a the eye (A1) of a patient with respect to a laser applicator of an ophthalmological laser therapy system (100). The invention further relates to a corresponding production method. The aim of the invention is to describe a lens element (2) and a one-piece contact device (1), the method of which for production is conceptually simple and user-friendly, and allows a high degree of automation whilst simultaneously meeting the high demands on the mechanical and also optical precision of the lens element (2). This aim is achieved by a lens element (2) which has an optically effective zone (11) and a junction zone (12), characterised in that the junction zone (12) further comprises a functional zone (14) for joining the lens element (2) into a holder (3) which is arranged continuously or discontinuously around the outer edge (10) of the lens element (2). The aim is also achieved by a contact device (1) comprising a lens element (2) and a holder (3) which are permanently connected to one another, wherein the lens element (2) and the holding device (3) are not connected to one another by means of an adhesion method.
