The invention relates to a method, in particular to a vehicle body construction method, for connecting at least two components, in particular two body parts of a vehicle body which are to be rigidly connected to each other, comprising the following steps: - providing a first component (1) on which at least one first positive-fit element (2) projecting away from the first component is provided; - providing a second component (3) which comprises at least one second positive-fit element (4) that cooperates with the first positive-fit element of the first component; - detachably fixing the two components, by placing same against one another, such that the positive-fit elements mesh with or latchingly engage one another, and the components are thus held relative to one another at least in one direction; - and permanently connecting the two components by means of an adhesive (7) that is located between mutually facing surfaces of the two components.
