A system, including a motion - driven air compressor, configured to compress air in response to vertical motion of a vehicle due to unevenness of the ground, and an air storage enclosure configured to store a compressed air from the motion - driven air compressor, wherein the system is configured to deliver the compressed air to a vehicle subsystem to decrease a cost of operating the vehicle.
