A fluid agent is delivered to the renal system using an abdominal aortic flow isolation assembly. In certain aspects, a tubular member (13) extends within the aorta (31) across the renal ostia, with a radially expandable interior passageway (18) separating aortic blood flow into outer (33) and inner streams.
