The invention relates to a prepreg comprising fibers and a curable matrix, said prepreg being characterised in that it has a core and a surface part encasing said core wherein the matrix of the core and of the surface part are made of a same material and in that the proportion of the matrix to the fibers is higher in the core than in the surface part. The invention also relates to a composite obtainable from said prepreg as well as to the use of said composite or prepreg.
