A robot apparatus comprises a command control unit (101) for outputting an output command corresponding to an input command, management units (102, 103, 104) for outputting data corresponding to the output command outputted from the command control unit (101), a command transmission unit (105) for controlling the transmission of the data outputted from the management units (102, 103, 104), and control units (106, 107, 108) for respectively controlling motion units (109, 110, 111) according to the data outputted from the command transmission unit (105). The command transmission unit (105) transmits motion control data for synchronism outputted from the management units (102, 103, 104) to the motion units (109, 110, 111) synchronously.
