A cement kiln chlorine sulfur bypass system for removing sulfur from combustion gases extracted from a cement kiln and utilizing the sulfur in low equipment cost. The cement kiln chlorine sulfur bypass system comprises: an extractor for extracting a portion of the combustion gases from a kiln extracted gas route between an end, on a preheater side, of the cement kiln and the lowest cyclone; a separator for separating dust in the gases extracted by the extractor to rough powder and fine powder; and a wet dust collector for the extracted gases containing the fine powder which are separated by the separator. The separator can preferably change a separating point. The wet dust collector may be a mixing scrubber and the mixing scrubber is preferably provided with a vessel to which dust slurry collected by the collector is fed and a circulator for returning a portion of the dust slurry to the mixing scrubber.
