The invention provides a curable composition and an organic electroluminescence element. The curable composition could be used to produce the organic electroluminescence element setting several organic layers between two electrodes by a wet process, and contains a compound having polymerizable groups. The organic electroluminescence element has a layer containing a cured object of the curable composition and then a luminescence property is improved. The curable composition of the invention contains an indolocarbazole compound and a compound having two polymerizable groups. The indolocarbazole compound has an indolocarbazole skeleton containing polymerizable groups such as a vinyl group, an epoxy group, etc. And the organic electroluminescence element of the invention has a layer as a hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescence element, which is obtained from coating the curable composition and then curing the same.
