The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a glutinous rice cake which comprises the steps: (a) soaking glutinous rice or common rice in water; (b) obtaining a ground product or an extract of mugwort, garlic, and jujube; (c) mixing the ground product or the extract obtained in the step (b) with the glutinous rice or the common rice soaked in the step (a); steaming a mixture obtained in the step (c) after adding a sweetener into the mixture; and (e) ripening the rice cake steamed in the step (d).
