Disclosed are vehicle tires having deformable treads and an operating device for the same. Some of patterns formed in the tread are made of deformable materials and the molecular structures of the deformable materials are changed by electric or magnetic signals so that the intensity would be improved. The invention comprises an operation unit of a driver, which generates on or off signals for deforming the tread based on driver′s operation; a control unit, which supplies or blocks electric or magnetic signals to the deformable materials in the tread based on the on or off signals for deforming the tread from driver′s operation; a signal generating unit, which generates the electric or magnetic signals for deforming the tread using the rotary force of a driving shaft generated while driving; a signal supplying unit, which supplies the electric or magnetic signals from the signal generating unit to the tire tread based on driver′s operation, and which supplies feedback signals to the control unit to notify that the electric or magnetic signals supplied to the deformable materials would stop being supplied; a signal maintaining unit, which maintains electric or magnetic signal outputs of the signal supplying unit based on the operation of the control unit; and the deformable materials which is formed in a part of the patterns in the tire tread, and which the intensity changes by the electric or magnetic signals from the signal supplying unit. As some patterns in the tire tread made of the deformable materials can be deformed by driver′s operation, the present invention is capable of flexibly coping with a road condition even though the road condition changes by seasonal characteristics.
