이 은계 원통 타깃은, 은 또는 은에 첨가 성분이 고용된 단상의 은 합금으로 이루어지는 원통 타깃으로서, 원통의 중심축을 포함하는 단면에 있어서 상기 중심축을 따른 방향의 결정립의 직경 A 와 상기 중심축에 직교하는 방향의 상기 결정립의 직경 B 의 비 A/B 가 0.8 ∼ 1.2 이고, 산소 함유량이 100 ppm 이하, 비금속 개재물의 함유량이 20 ppm 이하인 것을 특징으로 한다.
