The present invention relates to a gas range which comprises: a range main body having a venturi tube connected to one side of the bottom thereof, having a flow path along the border of the top thereof, and having a penetrated part at the center thereof; a burner having a tube body which is formed at the central part thereof, is penetrated up and down, and is mounted to be inserted into the penetrated part of the range main body, and having a cover part which is radially extended from the top of the tube body and has multiple flame holes generating flame along the outer circumferential surface of the cover part while the cover part covers the upper side of the range main body; and a flame detector detecting the strength of the flame discharged from the flame holes of the burner, wherein the flow path communicating with the venturi tube is to supply mixed gas, the penetrated part is penetrated to have the burner, and the flame detector detects the flame while arranged inside the burner. Therefore, according to the present invention, a flame detector detects flame while arranged inside a burner so that not only a pollutant such as soup can be basically and previously prevented from being stuck to the flame detector, but also the position change of the flame detector or damage to the flame detector can be prevented, and, as a result, the reliability of a product can be improved depending on the smooth detection of the flame detector, wherein the position change of the flame detector or the damage to the flame detector are due to an external impact.
