The present invention relates to a polymeric adsorbent and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a polymeric adsorbent which exhibits volatile organic compounds (VOCs) attachment efficiency which is higher than that of pure styrene monomers with the purity of more than 99%, and detachment efficiency with microwaves by using waste sources produced when polystyrene is manufactured in polymer factory and reduces production costs by reusing the waste source, and a manufacturing method. The polymer adsorbent using product waste sources produced in a polystyrene manufacturing process according to the present invention is manufactured by suspending and polymerizing the product waste sources produced in the polystyrene manufacturing process with pore formation agents and includes polar functional groups.
