The present invention relates to a method for compensating the delay of a signal using the dynamic model of a vanadium measurement instrument and the physical features of a measurement instrument material. According to the following equation, the signal of the vanadium measurement instrument delayed to the power density (kw/ft_local) of the measurement instrument is compensated using the signals of the vanadium measurement instrument measured in the current and previous steps. kw/ft_local = W' * signal (t) = W' * (a+b/λ_52) (where, W': output conversion constant of the vanadium measurement instrument (provided from the nuclear design), signal (t): vanadium measurement instrument signal, a: signal value of the vanadium measurement instrument measured in the current step, b: change slope among the signal value measured in the current step and the signal values measured in the previous steps, λ_52: decay constant of V-52)
