PURPOSE: A cultivation method using a plant cultivation container, and the plant cultivation container are provided to cultivate vegetables and other types of plants in a narrow space including rooftops, veranda, and gardens. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation tank (12) includes a supporting plate (14) mounted on a protrusion (16a) inside a plant cultivation container (11), and soil (25) is loaded on the supporting plate. A water storage tank (13) stores water. A heat insulation material (32) is filled inside a wall of the container for protecting the container from the external temperature. A wick (19a) transfers the water inside the water storage tank to the cultivation tank. A wing (33) blocks the water flowing toward an outer wall of the plant cultivation container. A handle (21) is installed on the upper side of the plant cultivation container. An insertion hole (31b) is formed on a protrusion (34) for inserting a pillar. An outlet port (38) is easily draining water on the bottom. A nonwoven fabric (22a) is located on the upper side of a supporter (23).
