PURPOSE: A hot water supply system is provided to prevent high temperature water from coming out from the outlet of a tapping pipe by replacing the high temperature water with lower temperature water. CONSTITUTION: A hot water supply system comprises a storage tank (10), a heating unit (9), a tapping pipe (17), a water supply pipe (18), a mixing ratio change unit (28), a hot water cut-off detection unit (31), a combustion water heater (3), a tapping bypass pipe (20), a bypass valve (21), a water heating temperature setting unit (33), and a hot water supply control unit (42). The hot water supply control unit enables the control of bypass temperature to adjust the opening of the bypass valve and mix hot water in the tapping pipe downstream of the combustion water heater with hot water from the tapping bypass pipe in order to obtain hot water at a predetermined temperature when controlling the heating temperature.
