摘要:
PURPOSE: A nano plasmonic polarization sensor is provided to measure polarized lights by using metal increase fluorescence and to simplify the configuration of a system. CONSTITUTION: A nano plasmonic polarization sensor includes a substrate (11), a metal nanostructure (12), and a fluorescent material layer. The metal nanostructure is formed on the substrate. The fluorescent material layer is formed by spreading a polymer material including fluorescent materials on the metal nanostructure. As the extent and the distribution of an increase in the intensity of ambient lights of the metal nanostructure are changed depending on the polarization of the lights emitted to the nanostructure, the polarization of the lights is sensed by using changes in the intensity and the distribution of fluorescent signals of the fluorescent materials spread around the metal nanostructure.
