PURPOSE: A sunlight-colored arc generation apparatus and a high-pressure discharge lamp are provided to emit light containing almost no harmful rays causing industrial accidents to the body of a welding engineer, thereby minimizing damage from harmful rays. CONSTITUTION: A winding part (20) is connected to an alternating current (AC) power supply part or to a direct current (DC) power supply part. The winding part maximizes AC inductive reactance and minimizes DC resistance. An arc generation part (30) is connected to one side of the winding part. The winding part is composed of a figure-eight coil part (200) and a combined doughnut-shaped coil part (300). The combined doughnut-shaped coil part penetrates left and right ring-shaped loops (201,202) of the figure-eight coil part. Each of the figure-eight coil part and combined doughnut-shaped coil part is formed with at least one twisted wire bundle.
