摘要：
PURPOSE: A machine tool and a method for loading and unloading work are provided to reduce cost of the machine for loading and unloading and to provide to authentically avoid interference or collision with a turret or a tool rest. CONSTITUTION: A machine tool comprises maintenance tools(1a,1b) including chuck or vise, a turret(2), a turning device, and transportation devices(7,8). The maintenance tool fixes processed work. The turret comprises a tool rest(32) which moves two dimensional surface or three dimensional space and a plurality of too attachment parts which is mounted in the tool rest. The turning device determines a pivot position of the turret surrounding of a pivot which meets at right angles to a indexing shaft. The transportation device carries or carries out the work to predetermined place of circumference edge of movement area of the turret.
