PURPOSE: A 3-bridge crossroad's signal control apparatus and a method thereof are provided to automatically a traffic control by detecting vehicles waiting for a left turn in a main road and a vehicles waiting for a left turn in a sub road through an image detection unit or a loop detection unit. CONSTITUTION: In a 3-bridge crossroad's signal control apparatus and a method thereof, a vehicle detection unit receives vehicle data at an intersection of a main road and a sub road. An algorithm processor(110) output a control signal in consideration of the number of a vehicle waiting for a left turn in a main road and a vehicles waiting for a left turn in a sub road and omits a left turn signal or early complete the left turn signal. A signal output unit(150) controls a signal lamp according to the control of the algorithm processor.
