Impact mill (100) comprises a base which is disposed a rotatably mounted rotor (3) in the bearing housing, the rotor has a rotational axis coaxial with an additional upwardly aligned conical surface. Impact mill is provided with a mill casing, and the casing within the grinder is a conical grinding track assembly is positioned (5) which forms a conical grinding path by surrounding the rotor. Eeun mill casing has a downwardly aligned cylindrical collar which can be adjusted axially to set the grinding gap (S) between the rotor and the mill casing (11). The rotor includes a plurality of impact knives and a complementary plurality of impact knives disposed on the inner housing surface of the mill casing. Conical track assembly 5 may be a single unit having a set of the assembled cone zones or changed the number of teeth in a vertical or inclined configuration. This flexibility further enhances the suitability of the material to be crushed.
