PURPOSE: An apparatus for coating a lower part of a hull block is provided to prevent musculoskeletal disorders of an operator. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(1) for coating a lower part of a hull block comprises: a carriage(10); a spraying-distance control unit(11) which is mounted at the end of the carriage; an interval control unit(12) which is installed in the upper part of the spraying-distance control unit; an automatic spraying gun(13) connected by a coat hose; a compressor(14) which is installed on the other side of the carriage; a container which is installed on the side of the carriage and connected to both the compressor and automatic spraying gun; and a controller(16) connected to the automatic spraying gun, compressor, and drive motor.
