A safety system and an opening/closing mechanism are provided to prevent malfunction of a latch mechanism due to inertia by keeping the lid in place on the main body when the latch mechanism is released. A safety system(4) comprises a circulating cam groove(40) which has a reciprocating groove part(f) and a locking groove portion(h) and is formed on one side of a main body(1) and a lid(2), and a reactive member(41) having a pin(45) tracing the circulating cam groove. The pin is not returned from the reciprocating groove part of the circulating cam groove to the locking groove part when the reactive member is applied with an impact, so that the lid is kept in place even when the latch mechanism is released by the impact.
