A compressor motor starting circuit for a railway vehicle is provided to miniaturize an auxiliary power supply by preventing simultaneous starting of a compressor motor and an air conditioner motor. A main compressor controller(410) is connected to a pressure sensor(120) and generates a compressor motor starting signal when receiving an air pressure reduction signal from the pressure sensor. A compressor motor timer switch(420) is electrically connected to the main compressor controller and delays the compressor motor starting signal for a first time. A compressor motor contactor(430) is electrically connected to the compressor motor timer switch and starts an air compressor motor(110) when receiving the delayed compressor motor starting signal. The main compressor controller transmits the compressor motor starting signal to an air conditioner(200) to delay starting of an air conditioner motor(210) for a second time. The air conditioner delays the starting of the air conditioner motor for the second time from when receiving the compressor motor starting signal. The simultaneous starting of the compressor motor and the air conditioner motor are prevented so that an auxiliary power supply(300) does not need an inverter apparatus.
